Red Wines

Petite Sirah, Grey Palm Estate Vineyard, Dry Creek Valley, 2016

Gold Award Winner TEXSOM International Wine Awards

2016 was a beautiful vintage in Sonoma County. We had tons of rain over the winter and a great spring and budbreak. The weather was warm but moderate and harvest was just beautiful.

Two barrels were selected from the cellar to enjoy an additional 6 months of aging for his “reserve” offering.

This is a very vibrant wine and a great showcase of such a wonderful vintage. The nose is full of black cherry, Santa Rosa plums, orange zest and pink peppercorn. The palate is so unctuous with velvety tannins, boysenberry syrup, more peppercorn notes and a hint of vanilla.

Drinking beautifully now but if you love a softer style, you can store this wine for 3-5 years.
