2016 Bacigalupi Pinot Noir
Cast Wines’ home in Dry Creek Valley has the good fortune of being surrounded by many other great wine regions. It’s one of our great assets in Sonoma County – variety. The Russian River Valley is an obvious example, with a history of world class grapes. So when we decided we wanted to produce a Pinot Noir, we were very fortunate to be introduced to one of the premier growers in the area with a history of great quality – the Bacigalupi family. This beautiful Pinot has vibrant acidity with notes of strawberry, a hint of vanilla with a finish of a light black tea.
Pair this beautiful red burgundy with a traditional French Cassoulet.
