Seated Cellar Tasting
On those hot days when you want to cool down or anytime you’d like a more intimate experience, join one of our winemaking team in the cellar for a seated tasting. Wines for your tasting will be selected according to your input, selected from current and library releases. Perhaps a vertical zinfandel tasting through several vintages of Watson Old Vine Zin? We’ll change the lineup daily just for you and include a cheese and charcuterie plate. Work in the winery changes daily and there is always something to observe and opportunities for learning how we do what we do.
Reserverations requested in advance. We can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests in a party. You will be in our cool cellar, so please dress accordingly. Please no dogs or children at this tasting. Seated cellar tasting fee is $35 per person.
Cast Experience Tour
A full immersion experience of beauty and information – this tour is an in-depth walk through our vineyards and small working winery. We’ll toast your arrival with our sparkling Blanc de Noirs to get the visit started off right. With glass in hand, you will embark upon a walk through our Grey Palm Vineyard where you will be treated to one of the best views in Dry Creek Valley. We’ll discuss our sustainable farming practices and you will see how our grapes are nurtured and prepared for harvest – everything by hand. Our next stop will be the winery crush pad and an overview of the harvesting steps in the wine making process – paired with another one of our wines. We will proceed to the fermentation tank area and into our barrel aging room. Each step of the way you will be guided by our knowledgeable winery team who will share interesting facts about the winery and the Cast approach. We’ll finish with a seated tasting of our reserve wines accompanied by a cheese and charcuterie place. As an added option, with ample notice, you can order box lunches for your party.
